Definition
Designation that refers on a case-by-case basis to
- institutions such as companies, authorities, associations, societies (institutional organisation),
- their structure and the regulation of cooperation (operational, work organisation) and the distribution of business (functional organisation) as well as
- the performance of tasks, e.g. organising a workshop, preparing family reunions (instrumental organisation).
In every organisation there are complex interdependencies between the tasks to be carried out, the means to be used (resources, information, material) and the people acting (employees, business partners), which must be arranged through organisational and process design, e.g. through business distribution and process organisation, so that the desired economic, social, ecological and other results can actually be achieved.
