Definition
Previously used term for the sum of the times of all process segments that can occur between the work systems during the process under consideration. It is primarily used to describe the time required for logistical process steps such as transporting, lying and storing, which means that the amount of work required for this can no longer be clearly assigned, which does not promote the corresponding influence. This designation is therefore only used by REFA in exceptional cases and replaced by the applicable REFA time types transport time, laytime, storage time and interruption time.
