Definition
REFA process type which can occur in the work system (S), in the human being (M), in the equipment (B) as well as in the work object (A) during the execution of the task as well as during set-up, namely as:
- a process-related interruption (SA, MA, BA, AA) as a result of chronologically different processes for people and equipment,
- disturbance-related activity interruption (SS, MS, BS, AAS) as a result of technical/organisational malfunctions,
- interruption due to personal reasons (SP, MP, BP, AAP) caused by the absence or inactivity of the person because of personal, non-work-related reasons,
- recovery-related interruption (SE, ME, BE, AAE) due to necessary human recovery.
Interruption in all cases means that the work process is temporarily not continued. If it occurs, the causes should be determined and eliminated.
