Definition
REFA-Time Type, characterizes the processing of orders or rather the progress of processes between and within companies as well as within a work system with respect to times. The time type:
- can include planned and unplanned process steps and times
- can incorporate planned and unplanned process steps and times
- is an important value for the evaluation of the nature and performance of processes and work systems
- can be used in many ways, especially to create key figures
- is determined by REFA for throughput times of orders, process chains and processes (process cycle time) as well as separate work systems (throughput time of a work systems)
