Definition
REFA method for the systematic capture, evaluation and processing of work data. Its’ findings are variedly utilised, e.g. for planning and improvement, as a performance target, as components for standard times, for calculation and comparison. REFA time studies are present in the work system description, more specifically the work procedure, work method and work conditions. It is also present in the recording of the reference quantity, influence factor, performance degree and actual times for the individual process sections as well as in the processing for the respective use. The procedure is outlined in detail in the REFA standard programme time study. It requires diligence and a suitable education.
