Founded in 1992, Siemens Shanghai Medical Equipment Ltd. (SSME) is an important pillar in the global Siemens Healthcare Group. SSME was even awarded the status of "High-Tech-Enterprise" by the district government in Shanghai.

In March 2018, the REFA-Basic-Training was once more conducted directly at EPCOS/TDK in Szombathely, Hungary. As in previous seminars, the theoretical and practical parts were scheduled for a total of one hundred lessons. The training was held in English, as the company language has changed to English under the leadership of TDK in recent years.

A REFA-Training Course, lasting two weeks, for the middle management of EPCOS/TDK was implemented in Šumperk, Czechia. The focal point of the seminar was on practical projects, which were used to reinforce the content of the seminar. The participants conducted, for example, REFA time recordings during the manual sorting of ballast ceramic bricks and created REFA activity samplings for the use of operating resources and process types.

The globally active corporation Palfinger, renown manufacturer of hydraulic lifting and loading appliances, especially known for its truck-mounted knuckle boom cranes, contracted REFA International AG to conduct the REFA-Basic-Training for eight of its employees from January the 15^th to February the 14^th 2018 in Cherven Bryag, Bulgaria.
