Definition
Marks the manner in which process sections are repeated and handled, specifically in the REFA time study. It is, for example, differentiated between:
- Process sequence with regular repetitions – the process sections repeat periodically
- Cyclical process sequence – process sections that repeat the same sequence multiple times are cumulated into one cycle to simplify the data determination
- Serial process sequence – the process sections are viewed individually in the order of their appearance with regard to their respective amount (piece number)
Changing or irregular process sequence – process sequences with varying process sections.
