According to DIN EN ISO 10075, the totality of all measurable influences that come from outside and have a psychological effect on a person. Consequently, it does not only result from the work situation or the individual's performance. The recording of work-related mental stress is not methodologically simple and requires special knowledge of the instruments and their applicability. The subjective reaction to mental stress can be recorded in surveys. From this, indications of the causes of stress can be derived. → Workload
